Selling Schiavo

So people are talking about this still. How this poor woman was 'murdered'.

Good grief. My own sister-in-law was ranting on about the evil Husband and the poor family and parents, and all the other crap ranting that she's been spoon fed by the right wing media she chooses to watch.

Please. The guy had the doctors try every therapy he could find, including an experimental electronic brain implant (that's the spot on Terry Schiavo's CT scan that everyone's seen lately).
When all that did absolutely nothing for her, he decided to go to medical school. He got his nursing degree and became a licenced nurse. His claimed intent being to have the knowledge to better evaluate what to try next, and to be able to take care of her himself at home. After this medical training however, he came to have the knowledge to realize that what the doctors were telling him was correct. Terry would never, ever recover. She was essentially the living dead. At this point is when he ceased all therapy and treatments. Because it was a waste of time and money. You can't exercise, or talk, or drug, or beg a brain to grow back. And that's the one and only thing that would have 'fixed' her. A large hole where your cerebral cortex is supposed to be is a permanant end to a person's meaningful life. But still the 'Save Terry Inquisition' want's to argue otherwise. Despite the years of therapy already tried. Depsite the CT SHOWING the large hole in her brain. Despite the flat EEG showing no brain activity. Despite everything.
They all want to demonize her husand and believe all the BS her parents put out to the press.

Well, I've got news for all of you, her parents have made a deal to sell the mailing list for all the people that donated money to their 'cause' to a marketing agency. Gee, maybe their selling out their supporters will help dull their grief.
