Tell your Senators...Vote no

Like many bills, the proposed "National Uniformity for Food Act" sounds like a good thing, but it is also flawed. It will remove the ability of local and state legislators to require other labelling. For example California and Minnesota use them to warn consumers of additional risks or studies associated with products. I don't know about you, but I'd like labels like "contains substances believed to cause Cancer" left on products I might buy.

Bush refuses to support Pro-Life legislation.

There are a lot of people out there who are one of the greatest threats to democracy and the democratic process. These people are what are called "one issue voters". These are the same un-American anti-patriots who elected Bush in 2000 purely because of their belief that he was Pro-Life.
One issue voting is treasonous, ignorant, and just plain stupid, but it happens all the time. It's one step below voting by party.
Anyway, that all said, the problem is this. By doing even a small amount of research in 2000, these Pro-Life voters could have easily determined that Bush's Pro-Life rhetoric was nothing but lies. He's proven that again and again, and now, finally since he doesn't have to face another election, he's dropped the pretense and come right out against Pro-Life initiatives like this one.
The same thing happened in 2004. Many of the public stupidly bought into Bush's sales pitch as the Homeland Security President. Believing like sheep that any other choice would lead to chaos and the country being overrun by external enemies. Yet after billions squandered on "Homeland Security" and the Constitution and Bill of Rights shredded in the name of Security, the DHS and FEMA did nothing when Katrina hit. They were no more prepared than before. They only accomplished fleecing the public of billions for illegal, no-bid contracts for republican run companies like Haliburton. Yet amazingly, there are people out there who still support him, even defend him like he is the second coming. Unbelievable.

Results of the Hearings on CIA misdeeds, 1973 Church Committee. NCOIC

Unless you forgot..

The media has been caught time and again in collusion with the Government, especially the CIA. I don't know what makes people think the media is trustworthy, unbiased, and liberal. They sell whatever each administration wants them to.
The only real remaining 'free press' is the independent media. I'm sure that's just one reason the government is trying so hard to control and censor the Internet.

The world is turning upside down.

So in America you can't even say a prayer in schools anymore, but Russia is making courses on Christianity mandatory in it's public schools, and is encouraging the Church's presence in the military.
